The Project: Targeted Communication with Strong Storytelling

Our collaboration with Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG was marked by the challenge of presenting the innovative product world of the Auto Division in an impressive product trailer. We accompanied an internal event, the Innovation Days, with a film crew to create a compelling trailer. Additionally, we had the opportunity to design a captivating visual support for the company-wide #WERTSCHÄTZUNG (Appreciation) campaign. These projects reflect Würth’s core values: quality, innovation, and appreciation. Our goal was to communicate these values in an emotional and visually engaging way, exciting both internal and external audiences.

The Challenge: Three Different Projects, One Unified Message

The focus was on conceptualizing and producing various communication materials:

  • Product Trailer for Würth’s Auto Division: The challenge here was to clearly and concisely present the innovation and usefulness of the products. The trailer needed to showcase the products in action while reinforcing the trust and reliability of the Würth brand. The target audience – automotive professionals and end customers – expected a presentation that was both informative and emotionally engaging.
  • Aftermovie for the Innovation Days: This trailer was meant to capture the emotions and spirit of the event, bringing Würth employees onboard. The focus was on motivating employees and integrating the projects into the daily work life.
  • Learning Maps for the #WERTSCHÄTZUNG Campaign: In the context of internal communication, our goal was to develop an illustration concept that visually conveys the complex aspects of “appreciation.” The challenge was to translate abstract values like respectful interaction, active listening, and accountability into clear, memorable illustrations that resonate with both leadership and staff.

The Idea: Authenticity and Visual Power Combined

Our creative vision focused on storytelling, authentic visuals, and emotional imagery to anchor the messages of the projects:

  • For the product trailer, we chose a dynamic approach that shows the Auto Division’s products in use. With a clear focus on quality and functionality, we developed a storyline that puts the user at the center while highlighting the product benefits.
  • For the Innovation Days aftermovie, we went with a modern, cinematic presentation that captures both the emotions and the spirit of the event, while clearly communicating its goals to the audience.
  • The illustration concept for the learning maps used a clear, minimalist visual language that is still lively and expressive. With carefully designed characters and scenes, we depicted typical work situations where appreciation plays a central role. Using colors and symbols, we created a visual hierarchy that guides the viewer intuitively through the various aspects of the learning content.

The Result: Successful Integration into Corporate Communication

The product trailer for the Auto Division became not only a visual highlight of the marketing campaign but also an effective sales tool. The video achieved wide reach on social media and Würth’s digital channels, receiving positive feedback from customers and partners. We successfully presented the products in a new, emotional light that sparked trust and interest.

The aftermovie for the Innovation Days helped to engage employees within the company. It inspired enthusiasm for the exciting innovations and encouraged participation across departments.

The learning maps became an integral part of the internal #WERTSCHÄTZUNG campaign and served as a central communication tool during the major leadership conference. The illustrations were well-received and played a significant role in conveying the concept of “appreciation” in an accessible and inspiring way.
